A Global Insurance Company with mainly business in general insurance is now looking for:
Medical Provider Manager
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Regional Medical Provider Manager Asia Pacific and manage the medical provider network in Hong Kong
- Focus primarily on securing medical services including but not limited to Public and Private Hospitals, Doctors, Diagnostic, Dentists, Medical Repatriation and Air Ambulance providers
- Handle negotiation and management of all contracts and end to end procurement with the Company’s medical providers
- Manage all the medical provider information in the Company Care’s databases
- Ensure business continuity, efficiency and service levels within the region through performance monitoring and assessments of Medical Providers
- Undertake analysis on the provision of spend with healthcare providers
- Provide support in the implementation of strategies and campaigns
- Assist in product presentations, proposals and reports in relation to new products, services or campaigns
- Actively contribute to the retention and growth for local and global lines of business
Requirements:
- Degree Holder preferable with business or customer services related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of solid experience in health sector with mature understanding in combination with health & medical services procurement expertise
- Able to produce comprehensive business plans and budgets
- Business acumen with strong interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an added advantage
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
