Head of Fund Services (Banking Sector)

Job Description

1. Formulate the goals, objectives and business operations of the Department
2. Manage and supervise daily operations including trade settlement and portfolio valuation in the Fund Services Department
3. Improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team
4. Key contact for major fund clients
5. Monitor and control daily operational tasks so that timely and quality services are delivered
6. Ensure the fund activities are in compliance with statutory deadlines & requirements
7. Train and develop subordinates so that staff can perform up to the required standard and successors can be identified
8. Effective communication with subordinates, peers, supervisors, and other colleagues across teams in the department

Requirements

1. University Degree Holder or above
2. Solid and relevant experience in trustee or banking industry
3. Lead and plan fund services activities in the department
4. Knowledge of valuation and asset servicing business segment
5. Have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
6. People management skills with the ability to coach and supervise junior staff
7. Plan the career development for staff and meet the departmental goals
8. Strong team management experience with good communication skill
9. Good analytical skills and able to communicate with all levels
