Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead manage the financial accounting/financial and regulatory reporting, treasury finance and project management functions of the department
- Formulate annual strategic financial and accounting plan and bank-wide budget
- Manage analytical and regulatory reporting on bank-wide basis to top management and regulators
- Provide insightful information and advice to top management to aid in strategic planning
- Responsible for ensuring all deadlines are met, with a high level of accuracy
- Oversee special projects for ongoing improvements to the finance operation to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency
- Keep abreast of new accounting standards/policies and latest regulatory requirements and ensure proper compliance
Requirements:
- Degree holder in accounting or finance with HKICPA qualification
- 10 years plus of relevant experience in banking sector
- Sound knowledge in accounting standards and local banking practice
- Strong team player with good leadership, staff management and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen, independent and proactive
- Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
