A Global Insurance Company with mainly business in general insurance is now looking for:
Claims Investigation Manager (Automotive Claims)
Responsibilities:
- Determine appropriate investigative scope and objectives, and formulate a comprehensive and efficient investigation plan
- Execute various data and information gathering techniques, including site visit, query and analysis of claimant records and document submitted
- Conduct in-person and telephonic interviews of reporting parties, victims, witnesses and subjects, including field interviews
- Analyze investigative evidence and findings to determine if an allegation has been substantiated
- Obtain evidence in various locations and other third-party facilities
- Capture critical moments, evidence and forensic reviews within a comprehensive report
- Communicate investigative results effectively to enable business partners to make informed and responsible decisions
- Maintain close working relationships with Legal & Compliance team
Requirements:
- Degree holder of Risk Management, Law and Criminal Psychology or Compliance related disciplines,
- Holder of motor mechanic qualifications or equivalent is an advantage
- Min. 6 years or above experience in conducting fraud investigations of insurance claim (automotive claims is preferable)
- Prior experience in law enforcement agents, general insurance or automotive industry-related claims role are highly desirable
- Successful track record of conducting successful investigative interviews
- Ability to query and analyse data to identify potential fraud and misconduct
- Experience in one or more of the following; audit, compliance, risk assessment, forensic accounting
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
