Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Handle account maintenance requests
  • Conduct timely account annual review and maintain a zero tolerance in temporary extension of credit line (including the documentation process with cooperation of credit admin)
  • Prepare new credit applications for both corporate card and purchasing card facility in a timely manner
  • Perform sales and marketing task as assigned including but not limited to the exploration of potential business opportunities with existing clients, the contact of new clients to initiate sales pitch
  • Perform face-to-face or on-the-phone sales pitch for new potential clients
  • Maintain close relationship with Card Associations so as to maintain up-to-date on the current plastic market conditions and to achieve our competitiveness within the industry
  • Maintain close relationship with external customers so as to be able to delivery services that pertain to customers’ needs (including but not limited to limit level, products coverage, periodic offers expected)
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments so as to smooth out our operating workflow
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports and make interpretation of our portfolio trend and suggest action in association with the figures

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Business or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years related experience in commercial banking; experience in credit card marketing/ operation is preferable
  • Preference would be given to those who also has commercial lending business knowledge
  • Strong marketing sense and keep up-to-date information in implementing and monitoring business development
  • Good exposure in local and cross border business
  • Strong analytical skill and credit sense in analysing relevant data from clients’ portfolio and market in order to determine the credit worthiness
  • In-depth knowledge of the principles, practices and credit risk management techniques on the products offered
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and assess customers’ needs for exploring businesses.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Card product
  • Good network in a wide variety of companies and industries for promoting and developing of trade finance and commercial lending activities.Strong interpersonal skill in establishing and maintaining relationship with customers.

  • Preferably some understanding on Transaction Banking and electronic products, payment and collection to increase the penetration ratio of customers with different product profiles
