Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Formulate the goals, objectives and business operations of the Custody products in Fund Services Department
- Manage and supervise daily operations including but not limit to trade settlement, portfolio valuation and etc at Fund Services Department
- Monitor and control daily operational tasks so that timely and quality services are delivered and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines where applicable
- Train and develop subordinates so that staff can perform up to the required standard and successors can be identified
- Ensure and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team
- Effective communication with subordinates, peers, supervisors, and other colleagues across teams
- Perform ad-hoc project and assignment when required
Requirements:
- University Degree Holder or above with CPA , CFP , ACCA or FRM is preferable
- Knowledge of valuation and asset servicing business segment
- At least 10 year’s relevant experience in trustee or banking industry is a must
- Good people management skills with the ability to coach and supervise junior staff
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Lead and plan ahead all fund services activities
- Plan the career development for staff in order to meet the departmental goal
- Strong team management experience, keen analytical skills and attention to details, mature, able to communicate at all levels
- Proficient in computer skill and strong command of English, Chinese and Mandarin (written & spoken)
