Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the efforts and develop internal strategies to specific to own damage claims costs control
- Report to and collaborate closely with the Head of Claims in all aspects of motor claims management, damage assessment and estimation as well as motor repair shop collaboration
- Develop and execute Automotive aftersales strategy to strengthen collaboration whilst ensuring cost containment and quality enhancement
- Drive digitalization and support Head of Claims on aftersales negotiation with core business partners
- Steer and manage panel of external professionals like motor damage adjusters, surveyors and repair shops and provide technical advice to lawyers with respect to claim related matters
- Assume responsibility for continuous quality assurance and targeted monthly claims reporting’s regarding motor surveyor, repair shop and overall performance to Management
- Assess, negotiate and settle outstanding and problematic claims
- Conduct on-site inspection if necessary and communicate settlement with relevant parties
- Provide on-going supervision and coaching to the claims handling team about vehicle technical and aftersales matters
- Conduct project work as requested
Requirements:
- Degree holder/Diploma preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Around 10 years’ experience within the automotive industry, especially in the fields of motor damage repair, motor damage estimation and motor damage management
- Firsthand experience and familiar with globally recognized motor damage estimation solutions, e.g. Audatex, DAT or GTmotive desirable and key asset
- Experience with forensic accident/collision investigation, analysis and reconstruction desirable
- Can do attitude and proven track record of delivering results and exceeding expectations
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Knowledge of insurance claim handling concepts, practices, procedures and associated technical matters desirable
- Ability to effectively interact with agents, brokers and internal stakeholders
- Good command in written and oral English mandatory
