Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide general and regulatory compliance support for the bank;
- Conduct compliance review on the bank’s businesses and ensure regulatory compliance;
- Provide full range of compliance advisory and support to both frontline and back office on day-to-day operations;
- Handle enquiries and reporting requirements from regulators and external parties;
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and drive the appropriate corresponding changes in policies and procedures for the compliance purpose;
- Disseminate compliance-related information and publications to all relevant staff or departments;
- Conduct compliance training and promote staff compliance awareness.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in law, finance, accounting or related disciplines;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of banking compliance preferably with retail bank;
- Familiarity with the banking ordinance and rules, codes and guidelines issues by HKMA;
- Self-motivated, independent with strong analytical abilities and good judgement;
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.
