Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Research investment ideas and opportunities in the technology sector as directed by Portfolio Managers
- Perform fundamental research in the technology sector and China focused related sector listed companies and conduct Company visits
- Prepare written reports to provide market update, covered stocks / sectors review and investment insights. Help with managing research database
- Responsible for the follow–up of investment performance, post-investment management and issue report on a regular time schedule
- Work with PMs and analysts to generate investment leads by analyzing emerging trends in the macro economy and different industries
- Develop analytical methods/financial models to assess companies
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Candidates with portfolio management experience will be considered for more senior role
Requirements:
- Degree holder preferably in a Finance, Economics or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience as investment analyst, preferably from buy-side firms covering Greater China focused listed companies
- SFC Licensed Representative Type 4 or Type 9 is preferably but not a must
- Good communication skill. Must fluent in Putonghua and English, both spoken and written
- Attention to detail, focused, diligent and reliable
- Be a good team player
- Hands-on and can work independently
- Well-versed in MS office (PowerPoint and Excel), financial modeling and presentation skills
- Strong products and investment strategies working knowledge
